The McCallum Home Support Program provides support to people who live independently or in shared accommodation with others. A major aim of the program is to offer a service that is flexible and in tune with the changing needs of the people we support based on a person centered format. The service covers a broad range of services and disability fields including:• Intellectual Disability• Physical Disability• Sensory Disability, and• Acquired Brain Injury The Home Support Program’s primary focus is for our clients to assume as much control of their life as is possible, and to use our staff to assist them in this pursuit. Aside from Government funded programs, McCallum also contracts to provide Home Support to people funded through Workcover, Linkages, Carer’s Choice, Ballarat Health Services, ComCare and TAC. People we support access a wide range of activities including sport, drama, arts and dance, as well as spiritual activities. Health, friendships and social contact are some of the main goals of the service users.
