Feedback Month Survey Results
8/1/2026
Thank you to everyone who took part in our 2025 Participant, Family and Carer Satisfaction Survey.
Every year in November, McCallum will be holding Feedback Month. This will provide us with an opportunity to listen to participants, families and carers about their experiences.
Feedback Month is part of our commitment to person-centred care and making sure the voices of the people we support help shape our services.
Your feedback helps us better understand what is working well and where we can improve.
What you told us:
We are pleased to advise that the feedback we received was very positive.
- 88% of people said they are satisfied or very satisfied with McCallum’s services
- 94% said they feel safe when using our services
- 94% said staff respect their culture, beliefs and background
- 93% said they feel welcomed and included
We were pleased to hear that participants and families feel listened to, respected and supported by staff.
You also told us where we can improve. Based on feedback shared during Feedback Month, in 2026 we will focus on:
- More choice and meaningful activities, including outdoor activities and exercise
- Better communication, especially regular updates for families about day-to-day activities
- More consistent staffing so that familiar people are supporting you where possible
- Improvements to systems and environments, including facilities, routines and clearer billing
Your feedback is helping guide our improvement plans and we will continue to share updates on how your voices are shaping real changes.
Thank you for taking part in Feedback Month. Your voice matters to us.
