SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Support coordinator
Full-time, 12 month contract
Our Support Coordination Team works with participants and their families/carers to ‘Bring their NDIS Plans to Life'. They are looking to expand their team to help them to do this.
As Support Coordinator, you will support Participants to:
- Navigate the NDIS service system and support them to achieve their identified goals.
- Facilitate connections with informal, mainstream and funded supports
- Help them build capacity to become as self-sufficient as possible in regards to the NDIS, coordinating their supports and achieving their goals.
We have a number of non-negotiable attributes that you will need to be able to demonstrate to be successful in the role, as well as key selection criteria that are all laid out in our position description on the careers section of our website.
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Disability / Community Services or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working with people with disabilities and their families carers in the NDIS environment
- Possess excellent written & verbal skills, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports and correspondence for the appropriate purpose.
- Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with the capacity to liaise effectively with a broad range of people and organisations.
- Capable and confident financial mathematical skills with a proven ability to monitor budgets and contribute to the budget development process.
- You will be passionate and goals driven focused on achieving outcomes. You will also enjoy thinking creatively, problem-solving whilst having a high level of organisation and systems skills. You will be happy to have a voice and contribute to the running of the team in this flexible environment.

Our Finance Team are looking for a Finance Officer who will play an essential role in our organisation. The role will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, as well as supporting reception duties and championing excellent customer service!
The Finance Officer Position will:
- Champion customer experience whilst also proving positive, professional and optimal service to our customers, staff, community and stakeholders.
- Value accuracy and attention to detail
- Undertake daily office management including stationary and other goods and services, couriers, catering, purchasing, travel and taxi reconciliation

Ideally, you will be experienced in supporting the needs of individuals that require high physical supports and complex medical needs. If you are a person who is passionate about supporting people with a disability and helping them achieve their goals in life we would like to hear from you!
We are looking for individuals who:
- Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills, including good listening skills
- Take accountability and can be trusted to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Are available to work flexible hours including sleep overs and weekends.
- Are creative and pro-active with regards to how you provide support, always striving to improve experiences

- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Certificate IV in Disability/Community Services (preferred) or relevant industry experience
- NDIS New Worker Orientation Completion Certificate
- A valid Victorian Driver’s License

McCallum’s Lifestyle Options provides a flexible service that is in tune with the changing needs of the people we support.
As a Lifestyle Support Worker we support our participants in their own homes and their community with activities to help them live happy, fulfilled and independent lives.
Supports you will be required to provide may include: social and community access, planning, budgeting, cooking meals, holidays, personal care, transport assistance.
Lifestyle Options are delivered either on a 1:1 or 2:1 needs basis.
- You will need to demonstrate work experience in the disability or human services sector, with a focus on individual supports.
- Be trusted to work autonomously whilst also work as part of a team.
- Have effective interpersonal and communication skills, including good listening skills.
- It is highly desirable that you have a qualification in Disability or Community Services.
- Experience in positive behaviour management will be also highly regarded.
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours including weekends.

Our Community Connections programs provides planned daily activities and outings for people, Monday – Friday. This is a rewarding and varied role, supporting our customers to achieve their specific goals and outcomes which may include social, leisure, creative and/or life skills.
We know that in order to create great experiences, we need staff that are passionate about the programs and activities that we offer. That is why we would especially love to hear from you if you have passion for and demonstrated experience in:
- Health , fitness or coaching sport
- Teaching art, drama and music
- Woodworking, carpentry and other craftmaking skills.
